Sindh Province, December 8-9, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan
H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin paid a working visit to Karachi where, as an honorary guest, at the invitation of the Director General of Fitness and Sports of the Pakistan Army, Major General Adil Rahmani, he attended the 35th National Games of Pakistan, organized by the Olympic Association of Pakistan and the Government of Sindh Province.

The National Games are an important mass sports event in the country, bringing together representatives of more than 32 sports, including athletics, wrestling, gymnastics, sailing and others.

As part of the Games, demonstrative fights according to the rules of the Kazakh national wrestling - "Kazak Kuresi" were demonstrated to the attention of the audience and athletes.

During his speech, Major General A.Rahmani, informed the participants and spectators of the event about his intention to develop this type of wrestling in Pakistan, register the "Kazakh Kuresi Pakistan Federation" with the opening of a network of Federation branches throughout the country in the near future.

In addition, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan held meaningful meetings with the business community of Karachi, including representatives of large business by the founder and Chairman of the Board of the logistics company "TCS" Mr. Khalid Nawaz Awan, Chairman of the Board and CEO of the holding company "Tabani Group" Mr. Hamza Tabani and Managing Director of the group companies "M.H.Dadabhoy" by Mr. Fazal Karim Dadabhoy.

During the meetings, issues of further building up ties between the business circles of the two countries, strengthening trade and economic cooperation were discussed, and an agreement was reached on organizing delegations of Karachi entrepreneurs to visit Kazakhstan in 2026.
