A working meeting was held at the Main Command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan between Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Ansagan Baltabekov and the Head of the Republican Public Association “Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers ‘Hearts of Mothers’” Liliya Khairullina.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Educational and Socio-Legal Work Major General Kairat Umbetov, as well as the heads of the Main Directorates.

During the discussion, participants thoroughly reviewed issues related to logistics support of military units, the medical services available to conscripted servicemembers, and the organization of food provision for personnel.

Major General Ansagan Baltabekov expressed gratitude to Liliya Khairullina for the active cooperation and the association’s contribution to improving service conditions for soldiers:

“Your opinions and views are always important to us. By drawing attention to the logistical support of military units, as well as the moral and psychological well-being of young servicemembers and their parents, you make a significant contribution to creating favorable conditions for soldiers’ service,” he emphasized.

It was noted during the meeting that parents should not be concerned about soldiers’ nutrition. Regulatory documents have been revised, accountability for violations of food provision standards has been strengthened, and the termination of contracts with unscrupulous contractors is now expressly stipulated.

Liliya Khairullina suggested more frequent open-house days at military units, as well as the creation of a weekend film club for soldiers.

On behalf of the association, she expressed appreciation to the Main Command of the National Guard for its openness and readiness for cooperation:

“We deeply appreciate the commanders of military units who consistently engage in active work. We are glad that you take our concerns into account and respond to the questions raised by parents. We still have much important work to do together,” she noted.

The meeting concluded with mutual understanding of the need to continue systematic efforts to support servicemembers. Representatives of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers agreed to further strengthen their partnership aimed at ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of young soldiers.
