Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Nurymbet Saktaganov made a working trip to the Altai region, during which he got acquainted with the state of urban infrastructure, the activities of industrial facilities and social and sports institutions. The main purpose of the visit was to study current problems on the ground and identify further measures to address them promptly. The first item of the program was a visit to a multi-storey building at 2 Lermontov Street in Altai city. Problematic issues related to the improvement and maintenance of the housing stock were presented to the mayor here. The head of the region discussed with local experts the need for comprehensive measures to improve the condition of the surrounding area and stressed the importance of a systematic approach to the development of urban infrastructure. Then Nurymbet Amanovich visited the Nikolsk-1 Limited Liability Company. I got acquainted with the company's activities, its production capabilities and development plans. During the discussion, issues of supporting small and medium-sized businesses, introducing new technologies and expanding the range of products were raised. The program ended with a visit to the Altai City Children's and Youth Sports School. The Governor of the region stressed that the development of youth sports is one of the most important tasks of the social block, and noted the need to further strengthen the material and technical base of sports organizations. Following the trip, the governor of the region gave a number of instructions to local executive bodies aimed at resolving the identified issues and improving the quality of life of the population.
