International competitions were held in Dubai.

Kazakhstan has 25 gold, 23 silver and 20 bronze medals. In the team competition, the national team took fifth place among 45 participating countries.

There is great merit in this success of Karaganda athletes. Four of our guys won 11 medals. This is a record!

At first, we were pleased with the pair of swimmers Beisekeyeva Dilnaz and Dyusenbayev Nurdaulet. They won prizes at nine distances. Dilnaz was the best in 200 m compound swimming and won silver in the following sports: 100 m breaststroke, 50 m B/st, 100 m butterfly. Nurdaulet won gold in the following distances: 100 m butterfly, 100 m backstroke, 100 m breaststroke, 200 m c/pl and 50 m c/art. The Asian Games champions have been swimming for nine years and are students of the Karaganda Higher College of Humanities.

Karina Zhumabayeva, a student of Temirtau Higher Medical College, won another gold medal in para athletics for Kazakhstan, becoming the first in the 800-meter run. Sailau Erzat, a student of the Karaganda University of Economics of Kazpotrebsoyuz, played well with the Kazakhstan national volleyball team, which won first place at the V Asian Youth Para Games. Congratulations to the athletes and their coaches Sergey Borisovich Bezgachev and Elena Vitalievna Aslanova with a record result!
