At the Management Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, fighters of the “Burkit” special unit of the National Guard completed a two-week comprehensive course on operating FPV drones. The training program was organized by specialists of the Scientific and Educational Public Foundation “Ashyq Aspan Foundation,” who conducted both theoretical and practical classes for the participants.

The course consisted of three main stages. During the first stage, servicemembers practiced control skills on simulators and mastered training drones. At the second stage, they studied the structure of unmanned aerial vehicles and learned how to troubleshoot technical malfunctions. The final stage was dedicated to the use of FPV drones in complex operations, including maneuvering tactics, methods of combat employment, and interaction with anti-drone systems.

One of the participants, a fighter with the call sign “Barys,” noted the practical value of the acquired experience:

— This time, we learned how to use compact and high-speed FPV drones. Such devices are especially convenient when performing tasks. They are indispensable for indoor reconnaissance, inspection, and room clearance, — he emphasized.

In the final days of the course, FPV TinyWhoop competitions were held among the participants, where they demonstrated their acquired skills. The best performers were awarded certificates of merit, and all trainees received certificates of course completion.

Further training is planned. At the next stage, fighters will focus on in-depth training in the independent assembly of FPV drones and their technical maintenance.

It is worth noting that starting this year, a drone operator training course has been launched at military unit 5573 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The course enables servicemembers to master modern military-applied skills and obtain a highly demanded specialty.
