The Kostanay region consistently implements a state policy to provide the population with affordable and high-quality housing. Over the past three years, 1.5 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in the region, which indicates a stable pace of housing construction and high demand from the population. Since the beginning of this year, 435.6 thousand square meters of housing have been commissioned in the region, which is 4,502 apartments. Compared to the same period last year, an increase of 2.3% was recorded. Special attention is paid to the development of housing construction not only in cities, but also in rural areas. In three years, more than 194 thousand square meters of housing were built in the village, which is equivalent to 905 individual houses. This makes it possible to improve the living conditions of rural residents and contributes to the integrated development of settlements. A major project in the field of housing construction is the construction of a modern residential district "Astana" in the agglomeration of the city of Kostanay. The project provides for the construction of more than 150 multi-storey residential buildings, as well as all necessary social infrastructure. At the moment, the construction of 10 residential buildings has been completed, 450 modern apartments were commissioned last month, which will be sold among the waiting lists of local executive bodies. Currently, construction of 13 more five-storey residential buildings has begun. In the future, it is planned to build 16 nine- and seventeen-storey buildings, which will significantly expand the housing stock and provide a comfortable urban environment. The implementation of these projects contributes to improving the living conditions of the population, developing urban and rural infrastructure, as well as strengthening the socio-economic potential of Kostanay region.
