During the meeting, the issue of the shortage of medical doctors was considered, which remains one of the pressing problems in the healthcare sector. Despite the support provided to young specialists, it has not yet been possible to fully resolve this issue.

Systematic work is being carried out in the Altai District to attract medical personnel, including participation in job fairs organized by the Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company “Medical University of Semey,” regular updates of staffing needs through the Employment Center and the Electronic Labor Exchange, as well as targeted recruitment of specialists from other regions. At the same time, efforts to train and improve the qualifications of medical workers continue.

As a result of the meeting, the Council members issued recommendations to strengthen measures aimed at reducing the shortage of medical personnel, with a focus on attracting and retaining doctors, developing the personnel reserve, and enhancing staff qualifications.

In addition, a joint decision was made together with the deputies’ corps to submit an appeal to the deputies of the Senate of Parliament regarding the inclusion of single-industry towns in the list of localities for which incentive payments are provided to incoming specialists.
