There are more than 50 people between the ages of 20 and 65 on probation records. Among them are those convicted of theft, fraud, alimony evasion and other crimes.

              The meeting was organized by representatives of the Antares Public Foundation. The goal is to increase legal literacy and provide assistance to vulnerable categories of citizens: the poor, large families, single mothers.

           Duman Duyusenbayev, a lawyer at the foundation, explained what issues convicts can apply for legal assistance with, how soon appeals are considered and what documents are needed. The participants were also told about the types of support provided by the probation service and the Antares Foundation. Many students face issues of divorce, alimony, division of property, debts and other disputes. During the meeting, they received answers to their legal questions.

           According to Bauyrzhan Yerdenbekov, the head of the Urdzhar district probation service, such events are planned to be held regularly.
