From December 11 to 13, an operational and preventive operation titled “Legal Order” was conducted in the city of Astana with the aim of preventing repeat administrative and criminal offenses by individuals under supervision, enhancing the level of public order, and preventing recidivist crime.

As part of this operation, officers of the Probation Service of the Department of the Criminal Executive System for the city of Astana, under the leadership of the Acting Head of the Department, Colonel of Justice Irsali Irisdavletovich Akhmedov, jointly with the Saryarka District Police Department, carried out inspections at the places of residence of individuals under probation supervision.

Currently, 1,657 persons sentenced to restriction of liberty are registered with the territorial probation services. During the operational and preventive operation, 616 supervised individuals were inspected. As a result of the inspections, 51 violations of the procedure and conditions for serving the sentence were identified.

For each identified violation, appropriate measures were taken in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the conduct of preventive interviews, preparation of materials for submission to the court, and the strengthening of individual preventive work with supervised persons prone to committing offenses.
