On December 20, as part of the international festival «Ayaz Atа and Akshakar», the opening of Ayaz Atа's winter residence took place in the Left Bank Complex оf the Museum-Reserve. A fireworks display of entertainment for residents and visitors, including a theatrical performance, a parade of Father Frosts and Snow Maidens, cheerful songs by artists from the regional philharmonic, and hot tea with traditional treats, created an unforgettable atmosphere of New Year's magic.

Ayaz Atа's residence features a throne room, complete with a throne, fireplace, and a Christmas tree laden with gifts. Here, you can write a letter and send it via magical mail. To the right is Ayaz Atа's study, where the good wizard carefully plans and plots his New Year's journey. The study is decorated with woven patterned ribbons called «bau» and ribbons with tassels called «shashak bau». At the table, Ayaz Аta reads letters and postcards from children from all over the country.
