On December 23, 2025, a round table meeting was organized at the “Öskemen-CTO” customs post to discuss the introduction and testing of the “Goods Declaration” module in the Customs Information System.
The changes provide for the automation and simplification of customs procedures, as well as the transition of paper documents into a digital format. In particular, all types of requests sent to the declarant have been automated, including the forms for Requirements/Decisions on amendments to the Goods Declaration (hereinafter referred to as GD), the GD adjustment form, and others.
The planned launch date of the “Goods Declaration” module is scheduled for the second ten-day period of January 2026. The module will be launched taking into account the proposals and comments provided.
The event was organized to familiarize participants with the new “Goods Declaration” module in the Customs Information System, as well as to identify problematic issues related to completing declarations in the new system. Customs representatives and declarants from foreign economic activity participants took part in the round table.
During the meeting, officials of the customs post provided detailed explanations on the procedure for completing and submitting goods declarations in the new system.
Participants of the round table had the opportunity to ask questions in a live format and discuss issues arising during testing of the new module in the Customs Information System.
