At the regular session of the Ust-Kamenogorsk city Maslikhat, key issues aimed at the socio-economic development of the city and improving the quality of life of the population were considered.

Special attention was paid to the budget of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk for 2026-2028, developed taking into account the priority social orientation and effective use of funds.

The main expenses will be directed to the development of housing and communal services, including landscaping and landscaping of the city, street lighting in populated areas, maintenance and repair of highways, sidewalks, landscaping of city streets, maintenance of parks and squares, subsidizing passenger transportation along socially significant urban routes.

The financing is also planned to be used to implement programs in the field of employment and social support for the population, including targeted social assistance and housing assistance to certain categories of needy citizens.

The budget for the coming years provides for expenditures in the fields of culture, sports, tourism and the information space, including cultural, youth, sports, tourism and language events.

In addition, the session approved the Ust-Kamenogorsk City Development Plan for 2026-2030, which contains indicators on target areas, the implementation of which will ensure the sustainable development of the city and improve the lives of its residents.
