The “People's Accountant” campaign will start on January 5, 2026

In order to support entrepreneurs and improve the quality of accounting and tax accounting, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan is launching the “People's Accountant” campaign.
The campaign will start on January 5, 2026, and will last until June 30, 2026.
“People's Accountant” is a free advisory service for individual entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Entrepreneurs will be able to receive clear and practical explanations on accounting, tax reporting, and working with information systems.
The main format is offline reception at state revenue offices in cities and regional centers. Schedule for the first months of January-February 2026: consultations 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 10:00 to 13:00. From March 2026: consultations 2 times a week.
The reception locations will be marked with special signs reading “People's Accountant,” indicating the schedule and address.
As part of the campaign, consultations will be conducted by professional accountants and auditors, representatives of professional accounting associations, and the most experienced employees of state revenue agencies to explain the legislation.
In Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent, it is planned to designate specific locations for consultations, if possible in all districts of the city. In the regions, consultations will be organized at the district level, with specialists traveling to the regions if necessary.
Video consultations and telephone communication between district and city administrations during office hours are also planned.
In addition to face-to-face consultations, entrepreneurs will have access to:
- online consultations through official resources;
- webinars (online and offline);
- thematic consultation sessions during reporting periods.
The State Revenue Committee will also prepare booklets on key topics with simple explanations of legislation and step-by-step descriptions of how to work with information systems.
In addition, materials for the call center will be updated and the SalykBot Telegram channel will be filled with information.
The “People's Accountant” campaign is the first step in the transition from a control model to service support for taxpayers. In the future, additional measures are planned to prevent violations and improve the quality of advisory support.
