Projects aimed at improving the quality of life of residents are being implemented in Shymkent

In Shymkent, infrastructure and social projects aimed at improving the quality of life of residents are being implemented in stages. A number of important facilities were put into operation on New Year's Eve.
Work on gasification of residential areas in the city continued, and natural gas was connected to the Altyntobe and Tassai residential areas. A gas pipeline with a length of more than 12 kilometers was laid in the Altyntobe area, providing gas to 343 residential buildings. In the Tassai microdistrict, the total length of the gas pipeline exceeded 68 kilometers, providing access to natural gas to 3,341 residential buildings. The project was implemented in three stages from 2022 to 2025.
Connecting to natural gas will reduce heating costs for residents and increase environmental safety.
In addition, 203 families in the Bozaryk microdistrict received the keys to new apartments. Housing was provided through Otbasy Bank JSC to citizens on the housing waiting list under the "2-10-20" and "5-10-20" preferential programs.
It is worth noting that 12 multi-storey residential buildings with 444 apartments are being built in the Bozaryk microdistrict as part of the state housing policy. The apartments will be distributed in stages.
These projects are creating a favorable living environment in Shymkent and contributing to the socio-economic development of the city.
