Projects to improve the quality of life of the population are being implemented in Shymkent

Shymkent is consistently implementing infrastructure and social projects aimed at improving the quality of life for its residents. A number of significant facilities were commissioned in the run-up to the New Year.
As part of the phased gasification of residential areas, Altyntobe and Tassay were connected to the natural gas grid. In Altyntobe, over 12 km of gas pipeline was laid, providing gas to 343 residential buildings. In the Tassay microdistrict, the total length of gas networks exceeded 68 km, reaching 3,341 households. The project was implemented in three stages between 2022 and 2025.
Connecting to natural gas helps reduce heating costs, improve the environment, and increase living comfort.
Additionally, 203 families in the Bozaryk microdistrict received keys to new apartments. The housing was provided to those on the waiting list through JSC Otbasy Bank under the "2-10-20" and "5-10-20" preferential programs. Among the new residents are socially vulnerable groups and government employees.
As part of the state housing policy, 12 apartment buildings with 444 apartments are being built in the Bozaryk microdistrict, with distribution being carried out in stages.
The implementation of these projects contributes to the creation of a comfortable urban environment and the socio-economic development of Shymkent.
