Today, District Akim Zhandos Yerkinbek visited the district sports and wellness complex and inspected its current operations.

Renovation works of the sports complex, with a total cost of 180 million tenge, began in August of this year, and the facility was put into public use in early December.

At present, the complex hosts regular training sessions in wrestling, sambo, judo, taekwondo, arm wrestling, weightlifting, and powerlifting, with athletes training on a systematic basis.

During the visit, the district akim emphasized that efforts to develop sports and create favorable conditions for young athletes will continue in the future.
