Today, a ceremonial event titled “Qosh keldiñ, Zhana zhil!” was held at the Sh. Tulepova District House of Culture, dedicated to summarizing the results of 2025 and welcoming the New Year 2026.

During the festive gathering, District Akim Zhandos Yerkinbek congratulated the audience on the upcoming New Year and noted that the past year had been a historically significant and successful period for the district.

— Dear fellow residents! The coming year will be a time of new momentum and ambitious goals. If our unity is strong and our solidarity firm, we will be able to achieve any objective. The work aimed at increasing the district’s potential and improving the quality of life of the population will continue. May the New Year bring good news to everyone. May every household be filled with joy and harmony. May the future of our children be bright and our country strong and prosperous, — said Zhandos Yerkinbek.

In 2025, the district budget demonstrated significant growth. Initially approved at 12 billion 176 million tenge, the budget was revised three times during the year and increased to 22 billion tenge. Through the attraction of additional funding sources, the district budget grew by 80.9 percent.

The district head also highlighted newly constructed modern buildings, newly opened social facilities, commissioned residential houses, implemented large-scale projects, and outlined specific tasks set for the future.

During the ceremonial event, a number of citizens who made a significant contribution to the district’s development were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional akim and the district akim. In addition, individuals who achieved outstanding results in their respective fields throughout the year received the “Best of the Year” awards.

Furthermore, several heads of institutions were presented with jubilee medals dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the city of Baikonur for their contribution to the development and prosperity of the region.

The event concluded with a festive concert program by district performers, providing the audience with a cheerful and uplifting mood.
