Today, a meeting aimed at increasing the number of alcohol-free villages and strengthening public safety was held in the Karmakshy rural district within the framework of the project “A Crime-Free Region Is the Key to a Prosperous Future.”

The event was led by Deputy District Akim Dias Moldabayev, who congratulated residents on the upcoming New Year and explained the importance and effectiveness of the project.

— Refusing alcohol is one of the most effective ways to prevent offenses. Practice shows that in alcohol-free villages, crime rates decrease, while public order and family stability are strengthened. Local entrepreneurs bear special responsibility in this matter. Your support is a tangible contribution to creating a safe environment. Meanwhile, the unity of residents and their conscious choice are the main guarantees of the successful implementation of this initiative, — said the Deputy Akim.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prosecutor of the Karmakshy District Zurab Gichiev and Head of the Public Safety Unit of the District Police Department Nurbulat Kassymkhanov. They emphasized that alcohol-free villages experience a significant reduction in offenses, along with improved public order and family stability.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dias Moldabayev noted that joint efforts by residents are the key factor in creating a crime-free, alcohol-free, and peaceful environment.
