The nationwide environmental campaign "Clean Kazakhstan" is being systematically implemented in Shymkent. This initiative is an important project aimed at protecting the environment, improving settlements, and forming an ecological culture among residents.

The campaign aims to maintain the cleanliness of the city, maintain the natural environment and cultural monuments, as well as increase the responsibility of residents towards the environment. In this regard, special environmental events were organized in all schools and colleges of Shymkent.

In particular, an environmental education lesson was held at secondary school No. 149 under the city education department, where students were widely explained the importance of cleanliness and environmental protection in human life. In addition, an environmental lesson was organized at the Road and Transport College on the topic "Clean environment - conscious generation", where it was stated that the cleanliness of the environment directly affects the appearance of the city, the health of residents and the improvement of the ecological situation. During the event, it was emphasized that cleanliness should start with each person.

The city's youth are also actively participating in the environmental campaign. At the initiative of the Shymkent City Youth Resource Center, volunteers and active youth organized a special campaign and conducted explanatory work among residents.

– Since the beginning of the republican campaign “Clean Kazakhstan”, the city’s youth have been actively participating in all events. This is a step taken to set an example for the younger generation. The cleanliness of the city is a mirror of society. This campaign not only educates industriousness and responsibility, but also contributes to the formation of an ecological culture among residents, – says Alzhan Aruzhan, deputy director of the Shymkent city “Youth Resource Center”.

Active young people carried out cleaning work in the area where the "Youth Resource Center" is located and distributed information leaflets to residents on environmental protection and cleanliness.

In addition, mass clean-ups were organized in the city's districts. Local residents actively participated in a cleaning event held on Shalkar Street in the Zhideli microdistrict of the Abay district, cleaning streets and public places from garbage and carrying out landscaping work.

– Cleanliness is not just an external appearance, it is a sign of internal culture and discipline. Making cleanliness a lifestyle is a guarantee of health and longevity. Through such good initiatives, we need to set an example for the younger generation and instill an ecological culture in them, – says Orynsha Tazhibayeva, a resident of Abay district.

Keeping the city clean is a manifestation of respect for the environment we live in and responsibility towards future generations. In this regard, the city administration calls on every resident to be active in creating a clean and beautiful city and contribute to the common cause.
