Today, on January 12, a ceremonial opening of a modern Palace of Schoolchildren took place in the city of Zhanaozen. The event was attended by the Akim of Mangistau Region, Nurdaulet Kilybay; Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas, Askhat Khasenov; Co-Managing Director for Strategy and Asset Management of JSC Samruk-Kazyna, Bakhytzhan Taubayev; deputies of the Zhanaozen City Maslikhat; veterans of pedagogical labor; and residents of the city.

“Bolashaq Sarayi” opens new opportunities for children and adolescents in the fields of creativity, science, and sports. The modern facility includes laboratories and classrooms for scientific and creative activities, art and IT classes, a television studio, various workshops, a “Zhas Qutqarushy” (Young Rescuer) classroom, an assembly hall, and a children’s co-working zone. The center is equipped with high-tech equipment, computer technology, and all necessary inventory.

The total area of the building exceeds 3,000 square meters. The Palace of Schoolchildren can accommodate up to 1,500 children per day. The facility was constructed with the support of KMG subsidiary companies—JSC OzenMunayGas and Ak Su KMG LLP.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the head of the region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, congratulated participants on the opening of the Palace of Schoolchildren.

“This project has been implemented in accordance with the поручение of the Head of State. All conditions have been created here for the comprehensive development of children, the раскрытие of their abilities, and the acquisition of quality education. Schoolchildren will be able to spend their extracurricular time productively at the new center. We express our sincere gratitude to the companies that provided sponsorship support for the project. We are confident that competitive youth will emerge from these walls,” the Akim of the region noted.

During the ceremonial opening, a key to a new minibus intended for the transportation of children was also presented.

As part of the event, the Akim of the region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, gave special recognition to the youth of Zhanaozen who have achieved outstanding results. Letters of appreciation and awards were presented to young residents who demonstrated success in regional, national, and international competitions in robotics, creative arts, and sports, as well as to members of the Zhanaozen city football team.
