Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Malaysia met with the President of Almaty Management University

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Malaysia, Bulat Sugurbaev, held a meeting with the President and Founder of Almaty Management University (AlmaU), Assylbek Kozhakhmetov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation in the field of higher education, including the establishment and expansion of partnership links between Kazakh and Malaysian higher education institutions. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for academic exchange, the implementation of joint educational programs, as well as the development of cooperation in managerial and applied education.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening educational ties with Malaysia, highlighting the high potential of Malaysian universities and their practice-oriented approach to human capital development.

In turn, the President of Almaty Management University outlined the university’s achievements, noting that AlmaU is recognized as one of the leading institutions in the CIS in the training under MBA programs. He also expressed readiness to build long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with relevant educational institutions in Malaysia.

Kozhakhmetov emphasized that AlmaU consistently and actively participates in key international educational events, promoting its academic and expert agenda within the global professional community. In this context, he informed of his forthcoming participation as a speaker at the IAUP Asia Pacific Regional Conference, which will take place in Kuala Lumpur on 12-14 January this year.
