Service Results and Priority Tasks: Military Council Held in the National Guard

A Military Council meeting was held at the Main Command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Lieutenant General Yerzhаn Sadenov.
The meeting was attended by members of the Military Council, commanders of regional commands, the Head of the National Guard Academy, and heads of main departments (directorates), centers, independent units, and services. Senior officers of regional commands and military units joined the meeting via videoconference.
The agenda focused on the results of the National Guard’s service and combat activities in 2025, as well as on determining priority tasks for the upcoming period.
Opening the meeting, the Minister noted that the National Guard holds a key position within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system and plays an important role in ensuring public security and law and order in the country.
Reports were presented by the First Deputy Commander-in-Chief and Chief of the General Staff of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Kairat Aktanov, as well as by commanders of regional commands and the Head of the National Guard Academy. The reports covered the current state of service and combat activities, identified existing challenges, and addressed issues related to maintaining public order, the condition of combat training, and staffing of newly established military units.
Following the meeting, the Minister issued a number of specific instructions aimed at strengthening the prevention of offenses among servicemen, eliminating cases of injury, ensuring proper discipline and service order, and further improving the material and technical base of military units.
In turn, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, stated that all assigned tasks would be carried out in a timely manner and at an appropriate level.
A separate task was assigned to the Military Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to enhance oversight and preventive work among servicemen of all military units.
Based on the outcomes of the meeting, a corresponding resolution was adopted and sent to regional commands and military units for guidance and implementation.
