Today, an очередная reporting and election conference of the Karmakshy District Veterans Organization was held at the “Rukhaniyat” Center.

The conference was attended by District Akim Zhandos Erkinbek, Chairman of the District Maslikhat Adil Koshalakov, Chairman of the Kyzylorda Regional Council of Veterans Serik Duisenbayev, more than 80 district veterans, akims of settlements and rural districts, as well as media representatives.

The first to address the conference was District Akim Zhandos Erkinbek, who emphasized the important role of the veterans’ organization in the life of the district. He also briefly spoke about the ongoing development work in the district and expressed his gratitude to the veterans.

Two issues were included on the agenda. On the first issue, Chairman of the District Council of Veterans Askar Merekov delivered a report on the work carried out in 2021–2025. The report highlighted the active participation of the veterans’ organization in socio-political life, its efforts in setting a positive example for youth, and its contribution to strengthening unity and stability.

During the discussion of the report, Honorary Citizen of the district and recipient of the “Eren Enbegi Ushin” medal Abdirakhman Kulduisenov, Chairwoman of the District Veterans Organization of the education sector Talmash Zhumabayeva, and Chairman of the Karmakshy village Veterans Organization and Honorary Citizen of the district Mukhtar Tanbayev spoke. They gave a positive assessment of the organization’s activities and put forward a number of proposals.

On the second agenda item, the members of the Plenum and the Board of the organization were elected. As a result of the voting, Askar Ermaganbetuly Merekov was unanimously elected Chairman of the Karmakshy District Council of Veterans, and Kenzhebek Ermanuly Tanbayev was elected Deputy Chairman.

Summing up the conference, Chairman of the Kyzylorda Regional Council of Veterans Serik Abishuly highly praised the activity of the district’s veterans.

In addition, a number of veterans actively involved in socio-political life were awarded Letters of Appreciation, Certificates of Honor, and the “Honorary Veteran of Kyzylorda Region” badge on behalf of the district akim and the regional council of veterans.
