Budapest, 12 January 2026 - At the invitation of the incumbent Chair of the Organization of Turkic States, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Budapest, Tahir Taghizade, a meeting of the Ambassadors of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States accredited in Budapest was held.

During the meeting, the Azerbaijani side presented the priorities and work plan of its chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States for the 2025–2026 period.

The participants also discussed the organization of joint events by the OTS member states in Budapest. In particular, plans were considered for the joint celebration of the upcoming Nauruz holiday, as well as for holding various common meetings and activities.
