Today, akim of the district Berik Sarmenbayev got acquainted in detail with the material and technical base and official work of the district emergency department located in the village of Terenozek. During the meeting, the head of the department T. Yerkebayev reported on the ongoing work in the field of civil protection, the daily activities and main tasks of the Department. The District Department of emergency situations performs operational and primary emergency rescue operations in case of fire incidents, earthquakes, man-made disasters and natural emergencies. The Department's activities are aimed at providing timely assistance to settlements and remote villages with full coverage of the territory of the district. Currently, the department employs 40 employees. The institution is equipped with 3 units of equipment and all necessary equipment, 2 units of spare cars and 1 inflatable boat. The head of the district noted the need to implement specific measures to prevent emergencies in settlements, and wished good luck in the work of industry workers. It should be noted that currently, fire departments have been opened in the villages of Amankeldy, Shchaeli, Chagan and Akzharma, which are constantly working to ensure the fire safety of settlements. These units make it possible to quickly respond to emergencies in remote villages.
