The military oath ceremony held at military unit 5573 in the city of Astana was remembered by everyone for a special moment this time. More than 700 servicemen, lined up in formation, took the military oath. Among them was Private Almas Abdrakhov, who not only pledged faithful service to the Motherland, but also made a touching surprise for his beloved on this solemn day.

Almas stepped out of formation and proposed marriage to his chosen one, Tomiris. In an instant, the strict atmosphere of the military ritual gave way to joy and excitement, and the young couple found themselves at the center of everyone’s attention. Having received the consent of his future wife, Almas Baltabayuly said that he plans to celebrate their wedding after returning from service. Witnesses to this memorable event included the personnel of the military unit, as well as about 3,000 parents and relatives of the servicemen.

During the ceremony, the commander of the military unit, Zhandar Ashirbekov, addressed the servicemen with words of guidance, emphasizing that the military oath is a great responsibility for every soldier.

“The military oath is not just words, but a clear expression of loyalty to the Motherland, the people, and one’s parents. I am confident that you will justify the trust placed in you and will serve with honor in the ranks of the National Guard,” - Zhandar Ashirbekov noted.

Following the ceremony, the guardsmen, including Private Almas Abdrakhov, will begin carrying out tasks to maintain public order on the streets of the city and during major events.

It should be noted that after the ceremony, the personnel took part in a ceremonial march involving military equipment. However, the most memorable moment of the day was the marriage proposal made by the young guardsman. Thus, on the parade ground where the military oath was taken, the foundation of a new young family was also laid.
