Ulaanbaatar, January 22, 2026 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan Almas Seitakynov held a meeting with Mongolia’s Vice Minister for Culture, Sport, Tourism and Youth Dashnyam Ganzorig and conveyed his congratulations on the Vice Minister’s appointment to this responsible post, wishing him every success in his duties.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral co-operation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, including the development of cultural ties, collaboration in sport, the expansion of tourism exchanges, and the prospects for joint initiatives in youth policy.

The Ambassador underlined the importance of strengthening engagement between relevant government bodies, cultural institutions and sporting organizations in both countries, as well as expanding direct links between regions and youth associations.

For his part, the Vice Minister reaffirmed Mongolia’s interest in further deepening the partnership and expressed support for holding joint events aimed at fostering mutual understanding of the cultures and traditions of the two nations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral co-operation and agreed to maintain regular working contacts, while stepping up collaboration in priority areas.
