• The Criminal and Administrative Codes, which strictly define the penalties for misconduct.

Kazakhstan has implemented a multi-layered control system:

1. Disciplinary Liability: Applies to violations of ethical norms and anti-corruption restrictions. Even a "minor" slip-up can lead to dismissal on negative grounds, permanently closing the door to future public service.

Note: Accepting a gift valued over 2 MCI (Monthly Calculation Index) leads to a heavy fine and immediate removal from office.
