In order to support entrepreneurs and improve the quality of accounting and tax accounting, the Ministry of Finance, together with Professional Organizations of Accountants (POB), launched the National Accountant campaign on January 5, 2026. The promotion will last until June 30, 2026.

The main format is an offline reception based on the state revenue departments of regional centers and the cities of Aktau, Astana, Almaty, Shymkent.

Starting from March 2026, consultations will be held twice a week (Tuesday, Thursday) in the Mangystau region from 10:00 to 13:00 at the address of the Department of Internal Affairs of Aktau, 31B MKR, building 35.

As part of the campaign, more than 38 thousand taxpayers were consulted throughout the republic in January-February 2026, and 879 open days were held.

The main issues related to the choice of the optimal tax regime and the transition period, tax benefits and deductions, issuing electronic invoices, the VAT threshold, setting and de-registering VAT at the National Tax Service and ESD, permitted types of activities for the self-employed, and much more.
