In the city of Aktobe, servicemen of military unit 6655 of the Batys regional command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with officers of the Criminal Executive System Department, prevented an attempt to deliver prohibited items to the territory of a penal institution.

The incident occurred in the inspection area of Institution No. 8 of the Criminal Executive System Department for the Aktobe Region.

During the inspection of a parcel using an X-ray scanner, the vigilance, professionalism, and coordinated actions of the inspection group—Sergeant Aizat Kurmashev and specialist dog handler Azat Akhunov—working jointly with CES officers, led to the detection of items prohibited for transfer.

The inspection resulted in the seizure of a modem router, a portable speaker, three charging devices, and a flash drive. The sender of the parcel was detained and handed over for further investigation in accordance with established procedures.

It should be noted that the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Criminal Executive System Department, conducts systematic efforts to block channels used to deliver prohibited items into penal institutions.
