The Head of State emphasized the role of volunteers in forming environmental culture and public awareness at the Volunteer Forum. According to the President, environmental culture is a very important value inherent in a civilized society, and volunteers are doing concrete work in this direction.
Last year, volunteers participated in more than 1,300 events within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" initiative, contributing to the beautification of settlements and nature protection. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of training professional eco-volunteers and creating permanent teams in each region. According to the President, the "Clean Kazakhstan" movement should rise to the level of a national idea.
During the forum, the Head of State also spoke about the need to expand international volunteer cooperation. Kazakhstan is actively participating in the development of the volunteer movement within the framework of the UN, SCO, CICA and the CIS. In the future, new platforms will be created for the exchange of experience and coordination of international initiatives.
The President also spoke about constitutional reforms and emphasized the importance of enshrining humanitarian values in the Constitution. According to him, responsible and creative patriotism is one of the main principles of modern society. This principle is clearly reflected in the activities of every volunteer.
According to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, creating a Just, Safe, and Clean Kazakhstan, where law and order prevail, is the common task of all citizens. On this path, the volunteer movement will remain one of the main forces uniting society.
