The Constitutional Reform Commission has published a draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document is aimed at ensuring the long-term development of the country and is developed taking into account public demands and modern requirements.

The central idea of the new draft Constitution is the development of education and science, culture, and innovation. These areas are considered the main pillars of the sustainable development of the state and the strengthening of human capital.

In addition, the document identifies digitalization as one of the important substantive areas. For the first time, a specific constitutional norm is being approved regarding the protection of citizens' rights in the digital environment. This initiative is aimed at increasing digital security, protecting personal data, and strengthening citizens' legal guarantees when using modern technologies.

The new draft Constitution is expected to serve as a basis for strengthening the rule of law, increasing trust between society and the state, and helping Kazakhstan adapt to global changes.
