Stockholm, 2 February 2026. A meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Sweden, Olzhas Suleimenov, and the Director of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Tobias Thyberg.

During the meeting, the sides held a comprehensive exchange of views on bilateral cooperation and current issues in Kazakh-Swedish relations, and confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening broad-based cooperation.
