A meeting with teachers and students to discuss and explain the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. At the event, Deputy Akim of Shymkent Sarsen Kuranbek spoke in more detail about the important document aimed at comprehensive modernization of the country's political system.

The new Constitution defines human capital, education, science and innovation as the main strategic directions of public service in our country. Sarsen Abayuly noted that in the current era of global competition and world instability, the strength of any country is measured not by its natural wealth, but by its intellectual potential, the quality of education and scientific achievements.

– In the new version of the Constitution, the preamble was completely rewritten, which, based on the millennial history of the Great Steppe, defined the main goals and objectives of the Constitution.

In addition, the institution of the Vice President, the People's Council, the Bar Association, and other important new institutions and concepts were introduced.

The adoption of the new version of the Constitution is a legal decision, the main thing is that it fully meets the requirements of the present day, the needs of society and the strategic development goals of the state. The new Constitution is an iron pillar guiding the long-term development of the country, the main document shaping the internal and foreign policy of the state, - said the deputy akim of the city.

Also, teachers and students of the educational institution shared their thoughts at the event. Those who asked questions about the new version of the Constitution were given comprehensive answers. The participants of the meeting expressed their full support for the new draft Constitution.
