From January 28 to February 3, 2026, a joint operational and preventive event was held in Astana, aimed at preventing offenses and ensuring public safety.

Within the framework of this event, the Almaty District Probation Service of the Department of the Penal System in Astana, together with district police inspectors of the Almaty District Police Department, conducted comprehensive inspections at the places of residence of individuals registered with the probation service. Preventive conversations were held with offenders to prevent repeat offenses and to explain the obligations and conditions of probation supervision.

The comprehensive measures carried out by the probation service contribute to the timely identification and prevention of potential offenses by registered individuals. During the event, the Nura District Probation Service, together with district police inspectors, implemented a number of preventive measures aimed at promoting law-abiding behavior among offenders.

As part of this work, the behavior of offenders, their compliance with legal requirements, norms of public order, ethical standards, as well as their attitude to work and society, were monitored. The operational and preventive measures had a positive impact on further adherence to probation conditions. Offenders not isolated from society were checked at their place of residence, with preventive and explanatory conversations conducted.

Additionally, on January 28, 2026, the Baykonur District Probation Service, together with the Public Safety Department of the Baykonur District Police, conducted a preventive raid at the residences of registered offenders.

The main purpose of the raid was to monitor compliance with the established rules of serving sentences, detect potential offenses, and conduct explanatory and preventive work to prevent unlawful actions. During the raid, offenders were explained the requirements of current legislation, and attention was drawn to the need for strict compliance with public order and legal requirements.
