At Institution No. 2 of the Department of the Penal System in Astana, an inspection of staff members’ personal vehicles was conducted to ensure compliance with traffic rules and prevent road accidents. The main objective of the event was to monitor the condition of vehicles used by staff, provide guidance on safe driving, and draw attention to each driver’s responsibility for adhering to traffic regulations.

During the inspection, particular attention was paid to the following:

• technical condition of vehicles, including brakes, lights, alarms, and tires;

• presence of necessary documents (driver’s license, insurance policy, registration papers);

• compliance with vehicle operation rules within the institution’s premises and on public roads;

• identification of possible traffic violations and conducting preventive discussions with staff.

Each driver was reminded of the legal requirements for road safety, the importance of regular vehicle maintenance, adherence to speed limits, attentiveness while driving, and responsibility when transporting passengers.

As a result of the inspection, certain technical deficiencies were identified and placed under staff control for correction, while driver discipline and responsibility were strengthened.

Thus, the inspection of staff personal vehicles contributed to reducing the risk of traffic accidents, improving discipline among personnel, and enhancing overall safety within the institution and on the roads of Astana.
