President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif signed a joint declaration on establishing a strategic partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This document is considered an important political decision that will raise interstate relations between the two countries to a qualitatively new level.

The Joint Declaration institutionalizes long-term cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan and identifies priority areas of interaction. In particular, strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic ties, increasing investment cooperation, and developing humanitarian cooperation will become the main core of the strategic partnership.

The document also aims to build mutual understanding and a coherent position on regional and international security issues. This can strengthen Kazakhstan and Pakistan's partnership in the international arena and contribute to ensuring regional stability.
