*The new Constitution will ensure the sustainable development of the country*

A meeting was held at the Peoples' Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov to discuss and explain the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by the Deputy Akim of Shymkent, Sarsen Kuranbek, who spoke extensively about the main priority areas of the document.
During the meeting, the deputy akim of the city noted that the proposed new draft Constitution identifies the development of human capital, education, science and innovation as strategic priorities of state policy. He noted that these areas will serve as the basis for ensuring the sustainable development of the country, fully realizing the potential of youth, and forming a competitive nation.
In addition, special attention was paid to the Preamble of the new draft Constitution, which reflected the historical path of Kazakhstan, the values of independence, and its national identity.
During the meeting, Sarsen Kuranbek noted that the current Constitution fully fulfilled its mission during the formation and development of the country, and currently there is a need for an updated legal framework in line with modern requirements.
At the end of the meeting, it was noted that such explanatory work will increase the legal literacy of young people and contribute to the formation of an active civic position regarding the future of the country. Sarsen Abayuly called on young people to become patriotic citizens who love their country and land, and who are highly responsible. In addition, during the event, university teachers also expressed their opinions and expressed support for the new draft Constitution.
