The NGO "Assembly of Youth" expressed unanimous support for the draft of the new Constitution.
Youth organizations of Kazakhstan supported the new opportunities for youth within the framework of the draft new Constitution.
On February 11, 2026, a meeting of the NGO "Assembly of Youth" in support of the draft new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the House of Friendship in the city of Astana. The event brought together representatives of youth associations and the expert community interested in the active participation of youth in the socio-political transformations of the country.
The Chairman of the NGO "Assembly of Youth", a member of the Commission on Constitutional Reform, Timur Dzhumurbayev, noted that the draft new Constitution is a true reflection of the interests of the people, opens up opportunities for involving youth in decision-making processes, and also strengthens the role of youth organizations in shaping the nationwide dialogue and strengthening the unity of the people of Kazakhstan.
The meeting participants expressed unanimous support for the draft new Constitution and noted the need for further active participation of youth organizations in its public discussion, explanation of key provisions, and promotion of the values of unity, harmony, and civic responsibility.
The position of the student community was voiced by the Chairman of the Student Assemblies, Alexander Urmashov, noting that the discussion of constitutional initiatives in the youth environment contributes to the formation of a conscious civic position and responsibility for the future of the country.
In his speech, the Chairman of the Representation of the NGO "Assembly of Youth" in the West Kazakhstan Region, Elgun Dzhanaliev, emphasized the significant role of regional youth structures in shaping a culture of legal dialogue among youth.
The Chairman of the Representation of the NGO "Assembly of Youth" in the Pavlodar Region, Ramil Smailov, noted the importance of enshrining in the draft new Constitution the values of science and education, as well as the development of human capital as a key platform for creating new opportunities for youth.
The Chairman of the Representation of the NGO "Assembly of Youth" in the city of Astana, Larisa Pak, emphasized the importance of open discussions and inclusive formats of interaction that allow for the consideration of opinions from various youth groups when discussing key socio-political reforms.
Following the meeting, an appeal from the NGO "Assembly of Youth" in support of the draft new Constitution was adopted.
