At an extraordinary session of the Ust-Kamenogorsk city Maslikhat, the issue of optimizing the structure of the city's executive bodies was considered, namely, the redistribution of certain functions between government agencies, the transfer of staffing limits and the reorganization of a number of city departments. These measures are aimed at streamlining powers and improving the effectiveness of the management system in the fields of housing and communal services, culture, sports and tourism.

As part of the changes, the functions of organizing yard and courtyard landscaping were transferred from the Department of Housing and Communal Services, Passenger Transport and Highways to the Department of Housing Relations. The authority to implement state policy in the field of tourism activities has been transferred from the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Department of Entrepreneurship and Agriculture. In addition, the Department of Culture and Language Development was reorganized by joining the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
