On the format for issuing a document confirming tax residency of the Kyrgyz Republic

The State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs about the procedure for issuing a document confirming tax residency of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Since 2025, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic has been issuing a tax residency document mainly in electronic format. At the same time, the option to obtain the document in paper form remains available.
The electronic document contains a QR code that allows access to the official information resource and verification of the posted version of the document.
Verification of the authenticity of the electronic document via the QR code is available throughout the entire period of its publication on the official resource, which is 6 years.
Subject to the availability of authenticity verification, such an electronic document may be used as confirmation of tax residency for the purposes of applying provisions of international treaty.
Taxpayers are advised, when submitting a electronic document, to verify its validity using the available verification tools.
