The Hague, 10 March 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Akan Rakhmetullin met with the President of the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust) Michael Schmid. During the meeting, the head of Eurojust presented the agency's work as a key coordination hub supporting the activities of prosecutors and judicial authorities of EU member states and their international partners in the field of criminal justice. Special emphasis was placed on its role in combating transnational crime, including economic and financial crimes, money laundering, cybercrime, drug trafficking and terrorism.
