On February 26 of the current year, a meeting with potential investors in the tourism sector of the Katon-Karagay district was held in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The event brought together 11 entrepreneurs, representatives of JSC “NC Kazakh Tourism”, JSC “NC Kazakh Invest”, the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, SPK “Ertis”, as well as specialists in tourism, entrepreneurship and land relations.

During the meeting, priority land plots available for provision as in-kind grants were presented. Participants were also briefed on procedures for changing the designated land use, mechanisms for supporting and implementing investment projects, available state support instruments, and the district’s tourism development master plan.

Katon-Karagay district is open to investment and new tourism development projects.
