Ankara, 4 August 2026 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Türkiye, Yerkebulan Sapiyev, met with the President of Religious Affairs of Türkiye, Safi Arpaguş.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation within the framework of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, with particular emphasis on the “Astana Peace Declaration 2025”.

Yerkebulan Sapiyev highlighted the importance of the upcoming Congress to be held on 7 October 2026 in Astana and expressed confidence in the participation of Safi Arpaguş in the event.

Safi Arpagush highly appreciated the work of the Secretariat of the Congress and emphasized the importance of further deepening cooperation between the religious organizations of the two countries.
