Antwerp and Almaty, March 13, 2026 – Belgian company Ahlers Logistics signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with Kazakhstan company Azurite Group, aimed at strengthening their joint business activities across Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. The document was signed with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of Belgium.

The partnership reflects both companies’ commitment to expanding their presence along the Middle Corridor and delivering high-quality logistics solutions across this rapidly developing trade route. The agreement was signed by Mr. Johan Vanderplaetse, Chairman of the Board (Ahlers Logistics), and Mr. Daniyal Sarsembenov, CEO (Azurite Group).

The cooperation is designed to leverage the strong synergies between the two organizations, unlock new market opportunities, and support mutual growth across these regions. By combining their expertise, regional networks, and operational capabilities, Ahlers Logistics and Azurite Group aim to enhance their service offerings and provide more flexibility to customers operating across Eurasian supply chains. Through this collaboration, the companies will further strengthen their capabilities along the Middle Corridor, an increasingly important transport and trade route connecting Europe with Central Asia and the Caucasus.
