The delegation of the East Kazakhstan Regional Ethnographic Museum, consisting of Candidate of Historical Sciences E. Rakhmatulina, Masters G. Kashaku, and A. Karchalova, took part in the International Scientific Conference «Turkology in the Modern World: Trends and Development Patterns», which was held on March 24-25 at the Bolshoy Altai Research and Education Center of the Altai State University. The conference brought together about 100 participants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

During the conference, the participants discussed current issues related to the development of Turkology, the preservation of cultural heritage, and interdisciplinary research. The event served as an important platform for sharing experiences, establishing professional connections, and strengthening international scientific collaboration. As a result of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific articles in the «Oriental Studies» series, which will be indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index.

Participation in the conference allowed the participants to expand their professional networks and identify new areas for the development of museum activities.
