National Guard service dogs demonstrate high level of training at A.SIRIUS 2026 show

Almaty hosted the international all-breed dog show “Constellation A.SIRIUS 2026,” organized by the A.SIRIUS service dog breeding club. The event brought together international-class experts, ensuring a high standard of judging and objective evaluation of the participating animals.

A total of 106 dogs of 41 breeds were presented at the show. The Cynological Center of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan showcased 4 service dogs and 2 puppies, all of which received ratings of “Excellent” and “Very Good,” confirming their compliance with international FCI standards.

Particular distinction was achieved by the breeding German Shepherd “Sandy,” handled by Sergeant Daurbek Musabekov. In the open class, the dog received an “Excellent” rating and was awarded the “CAC” title, becoming a candidate for national beauty champion titles of the Russian Federation and the A.SIRIUS club.

High results were also demonstrated by representatives of the Belgian Shepherd (Malinois) breed. The young service dog “Ice,” handled by Junior Sergeant Dastan Tuniyazov, placed second among various breeds in the junior class and received the titles “Best Junior” and “BJC.” The puppy “Ada” also showed достойный performance, taking third place and receiving the “Best Raised Puppy” distinction.

Service dog “Slate,” handled by Sergeant Sanat Ushbaev, earned the titles “CAC” and “CACIB” in the open class. The breeding dog “Verleinix of flying porkies,” under the care of Sergeant Pavel Grafkin, was awarded the “RCAC” title. The puppy “Artist” became one of the show’s top winners, earning the “Best Puppy” title and being recognized as the best male of the breed.

The winners were awarded diplomas, trophies, and valuable prizes. The titles granted by international experts confirmed the high level of breeding and selection work of the Cynological Center, as well as the dogs’ compliance with international breeding standards.

The achieved results clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of systematic training, proper care, and high-quality handling of service dogs of the law enforcement troops, which is an important factor in strengthening the capabilities of kynological units.
