20 March 2026. A cultural event dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz was held in Chisinau. The event brought together students from Kazakhstan, who presented elements of their national culture and traditions to Moldovan audience.

As part of the program, a Kazakh national stand was organized, where guests had the opportunity to learn about traditional customs and taste national dishes.

Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Moldova provided information on the особенностях of celebrating Nauryz, noting that the holiday symbolizes the arrival of spring and the renewal of nature and is traditionally celebrated on the day of the spring equinox. It was emphasized that Nauryz represents the beginning of a new life cycle, contributes to strengthening social cohesion and mutual respect, and supports the preservation of cultural traditions passed down from generation to generation. It was also highlighted that the holiday has gained international recognition, including being recorded in the Guinness World Records due to the scale of its celebrations and the wide participation of people across different countries.

The cultural program featured creative performances by students, including musical and dance acts, as well as poetic compositions. The presentation of national cuisine contributed to creating an atmosphere of hospitality and friendly interaction.

The event attracted significant interest from guests, demonstrating a high level of attention to the cultural and culinary traditions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
