Brasília, April 1, 2026 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Nussupov held a meeting with the President of COP30 Brazil, Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago.

The discussion focused on key issues of the global climate agenda, with both sides highlighting the successful convening of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which took place in November 2025 in Belém.

The parties also exchanged views on prospects for enhancing international cooperation in the areas of sustainable development and climate action.

During the meeting, Ambassador Nussupov extended an invitation to Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago to attend the Regional Environmental Summit, scheduled for April 22–24, 2026, in Astana.
