At the initiative of the Karaganda Regional Organization of the Kazakhstan Sectoral Trade Union of Education, Science, and Higher Education Workers, a meeting was held in the Osakarov District with heads of educational institutions and specialists from the Education Department. The event was attended by Sayagul Erkebekova, Head of the Labor Relations Control Department of the State Labor Inspection, as well as representatives of the trade union.

During the meeting, participants received detailed explanations of labor legislation in the field of education, with a particular focus on ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements in educational institutions. The importance of strict adherence to current regulations and the responsibility of managers for organizing safe working conditions for staff were emphasized.

In addition, practical aspects of implementing the social partnership agreement between education authorities and the trade union were discussed, including its role in protecting workers’ rights and the significance of joint efforts in creating a safe and comfortable work environment.

Such meetings help improve the legal literacy of employees and managers, strengthen open cooperation between stakeholders, and effectively address current issues in the field of social and labor relations.
